TALENS PICTURE VARNISH 003 MAT

Final varnish for oil colours which dries in a few hours. Durable and non-yellowing. Gives an eggshell gloss. Inhibits the ageing process of oil colours and is removable with mild solvents. Can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine. Apply when the paint film has completely dried (6 to 12 months depending on the paint film thickness). The gloss can be adjusted by mixing with Picture Varnish Glossy 002. If the varnish has become turbid it can be clarified by putting the bottle in a tray with warm water for some time (this completely dissolves the constituent waxes again).
