AEROSIL HDK FUMED SILICA

Aerosil HDK is synthetic, hydrophilic amorphous silica, produced via flame hydrolysis of silicon compounds.

 

It is physiologically inert and it is applied as thickening, thixotropic and matting agent in many organic systems e.g. in unsaturated polyesters, coatings, printing inks, adhesives and others.

 

It is also used as reinforcing filler in elastomers, mainly silicone-elastomers.
