The BM21 moisture meter in the MultiMeasure Basic series is a semi-professional measuring device for the quick and reliable determination of the moisture content of wood and building materials using the resistance principle.

The easy-to-replace steel measuring pins ensure solid contact with the object to be tested and guarantee reliable readings when determining the moisture content of timber, firewood or soft building materials like plaster, stucco or screed.

A bar scale and an additional moisture value in absolute percent facilitate reading from the display, whereby the two individual scales, one for wood and one for building materials, heighten the accuracy further still.

The calibrating curve installed in the meter for wood moisture measurements corresponds to the average of all the relevant types of wood found in Europe on the basis of a wood temperature of 20 °C.
