BDG 86 is a neutral compound, ready to use based on hydroxylammonium chloride and hydrazine hydroxide, in solution with distilled water, specially formulated for the removal of "black spots" of oxides and hydroxides of manganese from the ceramic finds surfaces, stone, bone and glassy from archaeological sites.
BDG 86 is applied through compresses or by immersion of the objects to be treated.
It is available a line of BDG 86 products which differ depending on the type of use:
- BDG 86 Blue for glassy materials, at pH 5.5 - BDG 86 Yellow for bone materials, at pH 6.5 - BDG 86 Red for ceramic materials, at pH 7 - BDG 86 Green for stone materials, at pH 7 |
